Morteza Fayazi

Morteza Fayazi was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1994. He received the B.Sc. major degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Tehran, Iran, in 2017. He also received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2020 and 2024, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT, USA. His research interests include Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He has designed and developed multiple AI-based tools for analog, RF, and System-on-Chip circuit design automation including AnGeL, FuNToM, and FASoC.
